Camping & Majorca Prep!

I can't belieeeve it's September.
Anyone else feel like the year has been stolen away from them?!

I suppose I'm a lucky one, I'm going on a last min holiday to Majorca, 'Mallorca Rocks' on Saturday with my friend Caroline for a week. Super excited as we booked it last minute through Teletext!

I had a lovely mini holiday with my dad and some friends in The New Forest a few weeks back, here's my first day camping outfit, looking a little tidier than when we left! It's beautiful there and only about a half hour drive from Southampton.

I have bought a few little bits lately on my discount as I've been saving, including this gorgeous short black kimono from New Look with my discount. It looks really cool dressed with jeans or shorts as so in the day, but I am looking forward to wearing it in the evenings on holiday too. As well as customers noticing, I have also seen an exact same version in Topshop for around twice the price! Grab it while you can...

90's Glitter Vest  Primark £9
Shorts -  DIY- Old cut shorts rolled at bottom, & shredded pockets myself
Fish Bone Necklace Zara Sale £8.99
I Phone Cat Case £4.99 New Look

I am also getting really excited for my last Freshers after I'm back from my internship at the end of September, as I'll be able to go to all the best nights now seen as I've been saving a little! And get to see all my lovely friends again that have been home far away for summer. I can see a terrible little shopping spree coming when our loans come in :S

For those that haven't already, check out Fashion Union.

I just bought this amazing Tartan bodycon midi skirt for a bargain £8! I have seen one just like it in Topshop for £22! And at the moment they are offering free standard delivery in September on order over £10. I am hoping this arrives before I leave for my holiday on Saturday! As you may have noticed.. I am already obsessing over Tartan.

If you sign up to their newsletter you also get a further 10% off! Can't argue with that...

I have also bought these skinny jeans, I love the wash and fit and think they'll be super comfy at work in the coming Autumn months. I am not a big jean lover but am determined to start being..surviving in tights may not work much longer now the winters drop so much!

I have for ages been searching for an affordable tote, big enough to hold all my tons of bag rubbish, that is plain enough to match all outfits. And I finally found it! In Zara, for £19.99! They are selling fast so get yours quick if you love it like I do!

I've been really struggling to find bikinis
as retailers are so set on getting in their Autumn and Winter wear so early! I don't blame them, but it makes it harder for us who still have late holidays. I scouted around, and managed to bag this cool high waisted black bikini from New Look, and also scouted ASOS and found this gorgeous Red bikini. I do find it trickier having a bigger 'chest' finding pretty bikinis, they tend to be very boring without pattern! There is definitely a bit of a gap in the market for affordable fashionable bikinis for girls with bigger boobies!

Here's a cute kiwi that might make your day a little brighter!

What I Wore

OOTN 03/09

My wardrobe is slowly turning darker, and is it sad that I'm excited by all the woolly jumpers appearing?!

I love Summer, and loathe winter, but the rubbish weather does have it perks of layering up and staying snuggly! I have never been one to love being half naked in nothing but shorts and crop tops in Summer.

This is what I wore on a girls night out last night, I love this midi skirt still and it is so versatile. I just bought this gorgeous green cami from New Look.

Midi Skirt H&M £7.99
Fish Bone Necklace Zara Sale £8.99

I wore my gorge chunky grungy military boots to complete my 90's grunge inspired outfit, and wore my hair a little cray! (In all honesty I couldn't be bothered to wash it and thought it looked quite cool all scruffed up with the outfit)

LIP TIP

I've learnt a brilliant tip on how to get the on trend lip look
'worn, stained, blurred & bleeding'

Blend foundation or concealer into the outline of the lips and then with a small eyeshadow brush carefully blend and dab lipstick on to the lips. Blend carefully into the outlines, meeting the foundation to create a subtle blurred line. Do not use too much lippy, this will create a more bruised effect! I love it! I find this looks best and most effective with darker lipstick.
